Dr. Helen was born and raised in Brazil and she received her Dental Degree from the Campos School of Dentistry located in Rio de Janeiro. She practiced as a general dentist for 8 years in Brazil before moving to the USA to expand her knowledge and education. Dr. Helen received a master’s degree in Public Health from Arizona State University and served as an oral health consultant with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Dr. Helen was heavily involved in the development and implementation of preventive oral health programs for pediatrics throughout the state. Later in her career, she pursued her passion for oral health prevention, education, and pediatric dentistry at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine from where she received certifications in Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Helen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Helen is devoted to promoting and educating her patients and their families about the importance of having outstanding oral and overall health by preventing dental diseases. She also enjoys traveling, sailing, scuba diving and spending time with her friends and family.
